![]() I personally don't have alot of history for this guitar but will be happy to answer any questions. The back is outstanding figured rosewood. The body binding laquer has yellowed and rubbed off in several places as shown. The top has minor dings (see picture), however I would describe it being in great condition for its age. ![]() I have adjusted the asking price accordingly.Īs the pictures show the guitar is double bound on both the body and neck. There is a slight rise in the top to the bridge which I would highlight as the only mechanical area where this guitar shows its age. The bridge is tight as well as the neck joint with no signs of lifting or cracking. ![]() It plays extremely well and is ready to play without any need for setup or strings. This guitar has aged beautifully and has outstanding tone that I would describe as being on the brighter side ( more Taylor less Martin) as I also own and play both. My dating of 1973 is an educated guess, I have not found a serial number which to my understanding started in the mid 70's. Beautiful Yellow label Aria Rosewood acoustic dreadnought guitar.
